Raised pavement with rubble sandstone retaining wall, c. 1835, having cast iron railings. Cut limestone steps from road to pavement, some having cast iron railings and handrail.
This raised pavement, built of local materials, adds to the streetscape of Wellington Road and is constantly in use.
