Cobairdy Castle appeared near the mansion house of Cobairdy in Aberdeenshire, built around 1500 during the medieval era. The castle vanished completely, leaving no visible trace behind. It may have stood as a private defence or a family seat, but the earth absorbed every wall and room without warning.
