On a level landscape, c. 80m N of the W-E River Suck. A double gable-ended, five-bay, two storey over basement house of the early 18th century with wings of three bays and one storey over basement. There was a large chimney stack on each gable, and a porch was added. It was the residence of the O'Conor Don until New Cloonalis House was built 1878-1880. The ruins survive.
