According to Toal (1995, 204, no. 817) there are five depressions (see KE014-015001-,KE014-015002-, KE014-015004-, KE014-015005-) in the interior of the cashel (KE014-015----) 'suggesting beehive huts; they are constructed of drystone walling. They are all sub-circular in plan and vary in diameter between 4.8m and 8m.' This is one of these possible clochans.
