What is recorded here

Two oval stone cairns still mark the foot of the Ardfert bluff, one small enough for a single body and one large enough for a chamber, separated by fifteen metres of grass. The larger keeps an internal wall facing at its northeast edge while the smaller preserves opposing doorways at east and west, as if admission and departure were both expected. They sit beside Dún Eochla rather than beneath its command, suggesting a domestic or ceremonial purpose distinct from the fort above.

At the foot of a bluff c. 90m E of Dún Eochla (GA110-138----). The remains comprise two clochans: (a, GA110-137----) a collapsed oval stone cairn (L 2.8m, Wth 2.3m) with traces of opposing doorways at E and W; (b, GA110-137001-) c. 15m to W is a second oval cairn (L 7.5m, Wth 5.3m), with internal wall facing visible at NE.
