What is recorded here

Clochan in Eochaill is a small oval stone chamber on level ground in County Galway, part of the forgotten cluster called Baile na mBocht. Its southwest doorway still holds a lintel above collapsed rock, while the rest of the chamber has sunk into itself. Kinahan drew a rectangular room with an internal wall in 1869, but that wall has vanished, leaving only the oval shadow and the suggestion that people once divided the dark inside.

Part of Baile na mBocht (GA110-162----); on level ground to S of another possible clochan (GA110-128----). An oval cairn of stone (L 14.6m, Wth 11.4m) containing an ovate chamber (L 4m) with a lintelled doorway on SW side. The interior is filled with collapse, and corbelling survives at SW. Kinahan's (1869d, 26, no. 11) plan shows a rectangular structure with an internal dividing wall which is now no longer visible.
