What is recorded here

Clara Ewald, 1859-1948, painted portraits inside 37 Rugby Road, County Antrim, Ireland. The blue plaque at that door still points to her rooms, where brushes, canvas and patient sitters filled the years. Ulster History Circle recorded the address because her work and presence belonged there. A painter’s life is easier to imagine when the street names the house that held it.
