Situated in pasture. According to Ó Ríordáin (1965, 223-5, Fig. 1), excavation of the monument revealed a Bronze Age cist-burial containing a food vessel and a small quantity of bone. Lucas (1968, 120-1) described that the food vessel was found in an inverted position in a small stone-lined cist along with the bone during the course of bulldozing operations. Waddell (1970, 135) describes the cist as the short rectangular type containing a Bowl type food vessel and cremated bone. Compiled by Alison McQueen, Vera Rahilly and Caimin O’Brien.
