No visible marker remains in Drummans, but the hidden cist still holds Bronze Age bones beneath ordinary soil. The survey admitted it could not be located, yet the absence does not erase the burial or the people who placed it there. Forgetting the point is not the same as losing the dead.

Bronze Age cist burial; likely dates to the earlier part of the Bronze Age in Ireland. Cist burials are significant as they represent early funerary practices associated with the transition from megalithic tombs to individual or small group burials.
