Conwal graveyard lies low in Glenade valley, its mortared walls enclosing a small church and stones marked by a horseman, a cross, and the strange Dobhar Chu carved in 1722. People may have come there to bury their dead, ask a holy well for help, or simply sit with the valley’s quiet company. The graveyard still holds that much: a place where life, loss, and wonder were set down together.

Situated in a low-lying position on the floor of Glenade valley, the graveyard is known as Conwal graveyard. The church (LE003-008001-) is in the SW corner of the rectangular graveyard (dims c. 35m N-S; c. 30m E-W) defined by mortared stone walls. A grave-cover or prone headstone (LE003-008004-) bearing the date 1722 and the carving of an animal known as the 'Dobhar Chu' is within the graveyard, and there is a record of a holy well (LE003-008003-).
