What is recorded here

No church wall or roof remains, only a buried church inside a possible early ecclesiastical enclosure and burial ground in County Cork. Bowman recorded a large mound of stones on the north side of that burial ground, but even that marker has vanished from view. The place still works through absence: a church removed until it becomes a shape of memory, patience and forgotten prayer.
