Chapelfield or the Eughs marks the lost church of Ballykeel, though no date or building survives to confirm the name. The field may have held a small worship place, a burial ground, or only a boundary people remembered long after the walls fell. Whatever disappeared, the land kept the shape of that loss and passed the name through local speech.
