What is recorded here
According to Begley (1906, 55) 'in the townland of Tournafulla, the site of an old church is still pointed out.' Begley (ibid.) considers this may be the chapel 'called De Monte Maledictionis ... mentioned in the taxation rolls of A. D. 1306.' No such site is depicted on any edition of the OS map and its exact location is not known.
