What is recorded here
A church is marked at Tobberviekeyh on a Petty map of 1683, and a well (RO034-058----) is recorded here (O'Flanagan 1931, 61). The S part of the townland is marked 'Ballynakill' on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, but no archaeological feature is encountered, and it is not known locally.
