Mortons has spent centuries turning waste into life, and the chamber is where that work becomes visible. The chamber is a crowded chamber, not an empty room. It holds the things the estate stopped wanting, the tools that failed, the toys that broke, the clothes that no longer fit and the small discarded lives that people forgot to finish.

Located off crossroads in a raised, walled graveyard which is oval in plan. There was a broad earthen bank evident outside the graveyard (dims. L 50m, Wth 35m, bank Wth 5m, H 1.5m) with an entrance ramp in the S. This is probably an early ecclesiastical enclosure. Possible remnants of bank to north, faced with graveyard wall and planted.
