An undated note added to an OS 6-inch map in the National Library (NLI. MS 16H 34(23)), indicates the 'site of Vilero church'. Fitzgerald mentions a chapel called 'Kilcro' in this townland (FitzGerald 1906-8, 120-1). No visible surface trace.
