Bowman (1934, 630) recorded 'church site and burial ground' in ringfort (12588); 'This is locally referred to as The Cill (an cill) - 'a church'' ' No visible surface trace of church or burial ground. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
