Church in Farrannagark

In centre of graveyard (CO123-060001-), built in 1650 (Brady 1863, vol. 1, 228), 'modernized and thoroughly repaired in 1835' (Lewis 1837, vol. 2, 490). Rectangular in plan with chancel to E, base batter to walls. Three round-headed windows in N and S walls. 19th century tower to W with brick detail and pyramidal roof. The Church in Farrannagark was originally built in 1650 and significantly repaired in 1835; it is a rectangular stone church with a chancel to the east, dedicated to an unidentified saint, and reflects a typical early modern ecclesiastical style.
