The Church in Farrannagark was originally built in 1650 and significantly repaired in 1835; it is a rectangular stone church with a chancel to the east, dedicated to an unidentified saint, and reflects a typical early modern ecclesiastical style. Its location in the centre of a graveyard suggests its importance as a local place of worship and burial.
