What is recorded here
Located in an ecclesiastical enclosure (DG084-001001-). McDevitt (1865) records ‘a pretty dell, called Dysert, where are the grass-grown remains of an ancient chapel, and a well of St. Columcille [DG084-001004-]’, but there are now no visible remains of a church within the enclosure.
