The precise location of Kilgobnet Church has not been identified. Westropp (1904-5, 417) recorded the following details about Kilgobnet; 'Kilgobenet, 1612 (Pat. R., also D.S. (B), 2). Site - The well of St. Derivla [LI046-009----] and St. Gobnet's fort [LI046-012----] remain'.
