Church in Ardgillew

A slightly raised area strewn with random stones is the only indication of the site of Kilcarbery Church shown on the 2nd and 3rd editions of the OS 6-inch map. It was situated in rough pasture on the N bank of the Twomile Water river. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal.
