Site of church, rebuilt 1798. Replaced, 1954. Set in unkempt grounds with rendered, ruled and lined piers to perimeter having lichen-spotted cut-granite shallow pyramidal capping supporting spear head-detailed wrought iron double gates.

The submerged footings of a church described (1885) as 'a small plain structure with two wings and three galleries…a little altar, simply ornamented, occupying a narrow space behind the rail in such close proximity to the seats outside as to suggest that comfortable and kindly relation between the clergyman and his flock [often] lacking in [churches] of great architectural pretension' (Bassett 1885, 207).
