Childrens Burial Ground lies hidden inside a ring-barrow in County Galway, Ireland. No visible trace remains on the surface, yet the site still belongs to the dead. Small bodies were placed there during antiquity, probably stripped of clothing and laid among adults or alone. The earth closed over them without marker or witness. Forgetting did not erase the act of burial. It only removed the chance to name the children.
