What is recorded here

Death came young and often in that Galway landscape, forcing adults to carve small holes and raise tiny stones instead of building grand monuments. The children's burial ground holds no name, no date and no warning, only a cluster of markers so brief they seem like mistakes. What is missing is not a gap in the story but the story itself: love pressed into little shapes because the departed had not yet grown large enough to be remembered properly.

On a slight rise in grassland, close to the td. boundary. All that is visible are a few small set stones in a roughly square unenclosed area (L/Wth c. 8m) of dense overgrowth.
