Childrens Burial Ground occupies an irregular unenclosed area within a Galway ringfort, marked by scattered small boulders rather than formal boundaries. The stones sit randomly across a space roughly seventeen by eleven metres, suggesting urgency, tenderness or both. Children may have died quickly in that landscape, and adults may have placed whatever stone was nearest before leaving. The ground still holds that sudden care.

Within a ringfort (GA043-061----). An irregular unenclosed area (N-S c. 16.9m, NE-SW c. 11m) within which are a number of small randomly placed irregular boulder grave-markers.
