Inside the southwest quadrant of an ancient Galway ringfort, small set stones mark child graves stretching east to west across an irregular eleven-metre patch. One larger slab and plain headstone sit at the western edge, suggesting a special child or a later memorial. The arrangement implies a dedicated place where a community laid its youngest dead within a defended settlement, perhaps believing the ringfort walls would protect even their afterlife.

Within SW quadrant of a ringfort (GA017-061----). An irregularly shaped area (N-S 11m, E-W 9m) within which numerous small set stones indicate graves oriented E-W. A slab-covered grave, with a plain headstone, is situated at W edge.
