What is recorded here
Childrens Burial Ground occupies level Galway grassland, preserving a small oval where forgotten children may have slept. A low earthen bank still crosses the field, perhaps marking the edge of that tender loss.
In level grassland. Marked on the OS 6-inch maps as an unenclosed oval area (c. 10m NW-SE; c. 8m NE-SW). On inspection only a low earthen bank (L 15m) running NW-SE was visible. It was unclear whether this was part of the site or the result of field clearance. No grave-markers were evident.
