What is recorded here
Childrens Burial Gd. is an unenclosed oval on a Galway grassland hummock, roughly sixteen by ten metres, where nettles still mark what stones never did. The sharp plants may be a living boundary, feeding on forgotten grief instead of claiming credit for it.
On a hummock in grassland. Marked on the OS 6-inch maps as an unenclosed oval area (c. 16m N-S; c. 10m E-W). It is marked by an irregular patch of nettles; no grave-markers are visible.
