Children lay buried east to west beneath scattered limestone blocks at the south end of a Galway glacial ridge. The grass still moves above them, but the stones keep a rigid row that no modern hand arranged.

At S end of a glacial ridge in undulating grassland. An unenclosed roughly rectangular area (E-W 21m, N-S 10.2m) defined by a natural scarp. Small set limestone blocks are aligned in N-S rows, indicating burials oriented E-W.
