Children's burial ground in Loughane More — Report the wrong picture

Fern fronds lift and drop over plain stones, marking small bodies laid out north to south inside the western half of an old rath. Local memory names the place a cillíneach, a children's burial ground, suggesting adult hands once carried tiny weights through rain and darkness before forgetting their names. The stones never spoke back, but they still hold the shape of every child the earth accepted.

In the W half of a rath (CO126-035001-). A raised fern-covered rectangular area (12m E-W; 8m N-S; H 0.5m) containing plain uninscribed stone grave-markers, generally orientated N-S.
