Lettermore’s children’s burial ground holds a slight unenclosed mound on a small headland west of Droichead Charraig an Lugáin. Small set stones remain visible across its surface, marking little bodies returned to the seaward earth instead of a crowded churchyard. The Atlantic still touches that place, carrying childhood into its endless churn.
