What is recorded here
Knockfree holds a children's burial ground, a rare admission that the land remembered small bodies before adults recorded them. The name itself is a wound and a gift: wound because it marks loss, gift because it refuses to erase the youngest people history usually swallows. Stand there long enough and the grass stops being ordinary. It becomes a chamber where joy and grief share one breath, and the living learn to hear the dead without fear.
