Killomeerhoe holds a children's burial ground where a fieldbank still cuts through what maps drew as a complete circle. The earth has been levelled until only a shallow semi-circular mound and scattered stones remain, yet the name survived on the old survey. That is the strange part: the bodies are gone or hidden, but the shape of mercy is still written across the pasture.

This site is situated in poor pastureland. It is marked on the 1841-42 OS maps as a 'Childrens Burial Ground', Also, on the first edition map it appears as a circular enclosure (KE005-041002-) which is cut in half by a fieldbank running in a N-S direction. Today it has been much levelled and only a small semi-circular mound, measuring c 8m x 8.5m internally, remains. On the W side of the fieldbank is another small earthen mound which measures internally 2m x 3m. Quite a large amount of stones are visible. According to the landowner (Mr Kissane), a small stone-lined grave was unearthed in the N sector of the enclosure. However, it contained no remains, and no surface trace of it can be seen today.
