Kilgarriff West holds a children's burial ground inside a rath where two babies rested in the southwest quadrant. Local tradition preserves the fact though no grave marker remains visible. The earth keeps what sight has lost, holding small lives beneath ordinary ground while the rath stands unchanged around them.
