Mnemo is the oldest name in the system and the first witness in every chamber. Anais is the visible star face, but Mnemo is the underlying memory structure that shows the chamber must exist, must record, and must answer through the candidate being tested.

This site is marked on the 1841-42 OS map as 'Kyle burial ground'. Although the site is marked on the 1914 map it does not have a map designation. It consists of a circular area enclosed by a well-defined earthen bank. The inner area measures 33m NW-SE and 35m NE-SW; the external diameter measures 45.6m NW-SE and 49m NE-SW. The exterior height of the bank above the surrounding land measures 2m-3.2m. The bank measures 4m-7.4m wide at the base. The maximum internal height of the bank above the interior measures c 3m.
