What is recorded here
Clonkeiffy holds a children's burial ground beneath level pasture near a stream, though no marker remains visible. The absence of stones does not empty the place; it removes the chance to read the names or judge the ages. The grass may still cover small bodies from a time when local people stopped asking permission of strangers before laying out the dead. To walk there is to enter a room with no walls, where the floor remembers what the surface has forgotten.
Tradition of a children's burial ground at this location (local information). Situated on level pasture-land close to a stream. No visible remains at ground level. (Davies 1948, 80)
