On a north-facing slope beside the road on Bere Island, a small rectangular enclosure stands behind a low stone wall, marked locally as a cillineach for children. Briars and bushes still choke the interior, hiding whatever shape the dead once gave the earth. The wall remains stubbornly visible in pasture, suggesting people kept this place separate long after memory faded.

In pasture, on a N-facing slope on the S side of a roadside field boundary on the N side of Bere Island. A rectangular area (10m E-W; 5m N-S) enclosed by a field boundary at N and elsewhere by a stone wall (H 1m). The interior is largely obscured by briars and bushes.
