Below Cnoc Ramhair, a low circular platform rises half a metre from the grazing land, scattered with stones and a single block of white quartz. Children died young in that valley, and their parents placed markers above the soil instead of forgetting them. The quartz still catches light on the hillside, waiting to be seen by someone who knows the difference between a field and a funeral.

This 'Children's Burial Ground' consists of a subcircular platform 0.8m high and c. 18m in diameter. There are several stones on the surface including a block of white quartz (1.2m x .7m x .7m) which are presumably grave markers. It is situated on a low rise in undulating grazing land.
