Chichester Roman Amphitheatre is one of the best-preserved Roman amphitheatres in Britain, dating back to the 2nd century AD. It was built by the Romans during their occupation of Britain and is associated with the Roman town of Noviomagus Reginorum, highlighting the area's significance as a regional administrative and military centre.
