Chevalier: Skervuile, Sound of Jura

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Chevalier: Skervuile, Sound of Jura as Steamship (19th Century). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 100m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

The *Chevalier* was a 19th-century steamship wrecked in the Sound of Jura, off the west coast of Scotland. It was lost in 1887 after striking a rock during a storm, resulting in the deaths of three crew members; the vessel was carrying general cargo, much of which was salvaged.
