The *Cheshire Lass* was a 17th-century English merchant vessel lost in a storm off the coast of Wales during the winter of 1630. It sank near the Lleyn Peninsula, resulting in the loss of all six crew members and a cargo of textiles and grain; its wreck is now a protected historic site and an important archaeological resource in Welsh maritime history.
