Cheeverstown Castle stood as a square three-storied tower on flat ground west of Belgard hill until demolition erased it between the late 1970s and early 1980s. Its vaulted basement and plain slit loops suggest a cramped, shadowy home where residents watched the low horizon through narrow gaps. The lost bawn and well may have supported a small domestic world now reduced to memory and absent stone.

Located on flat, low lying ground W of Belgard hill. Demolished between the late 1970s and early 80s. Formerly a three-storied tower house which was square in plan (ext. dim. c. 7m) with a vault over ground floor and lit by plain slit loops. The entrance was in the in W (Mc Dix 1897, xxxix, 170).
