Castle in Jobstown, County Dublin, stood on the Dublin Mountains foothills before a housing estate buried it. Two conjoined rectangular earthworks still rise beneath the modern buildings, marked as a castle in repair during the Down Survey of 1655-6. Rooms may have echoed with argument, birth, fear or love before the concrete closed over them.

Formerly located on the foothills of the Dublin Mountains. An aerial photograph (FSI 2, 340/339) taken in 1971 show two conjoined, raised rectangular earthworks. This is probably the site of a castle marked on Down Survey (1655-6) and referred to in the Books of Reference as a 'castle in repair' at Jobstowne' (Simington 194, 289).
