What is recorded here

Charles Bianconi died in County Tipperary, Ireland, after transforming a discarded jaunting-car into a vast passenger empire that stretched across half the country. He began by hauling six people and baggage between Clonmel and Cahir, then grew until more than a thousand horses pulled cars along four thousand miles of road. Buttermen, patriots and ordinary travellers filled his vehicles, carrying cream, arguments and life itself through the green valleys of Munster.
