What is recorded here
In a cashel (KE067-038----). The Man-made underground passage is evident in the N half of the cashel as an uneven grassy area in which spaces between two large stones lead underground. In the 1940s, a stone stairway leading to an underground passage was noted here though the top portions of the stairway were described as having disappeared (ITA). According to local information, the passage extended to the W. The entrance has been closed with large stones for safety reasons.
