Large multi-chambered Man-made underground passage located in the centre of a large ringfort (OF006-029001-) situated on an E/W esker ridge in undulating countryside. Foot (1860-61, 222-9) describes three dry stone walled chambers constructed with large limestone blocks in a cyclopean fashion with flat lintelled roofs joined by creepways. Chamber 1: L 8.84m; Wth 1.67m; H 1.67m. Chamber 2: L 10m; Wth 1.82m; H 1.67m. Chamber 3: L 9.1m; Wth 1.82m; H 1.67m. Original entrance destroyed with access to Man-made underground passage from the open roof of chamber 1 (English 1972, 249).
