In centre of ringfort (CO082-050001-). Creepway leading to short stretch of stone-lined passage (H 1.1m), roofed with lintels, which turns at right angles before a collapse (pers. comm. J.P. McCarthy). Stone-lined opening sloping downwards in NW quadrant remains exposed. Two hollows to E of opening may indicate collapsed chambers. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
