Cave is a man-made underground passage in Cartron (boyle By., Danesfort Ed), County Roscommon, Ireland. It lies just west of the rath centre on a gentle southeast-facing shelf. A lintelled passage roughly 0.9 metres wide and 1.2 metres high runs west for about 10 metres before blocking at a turning. Water frequently fills it, and local description mentions two chambers.

Just W of the centre of rath (RO011-072001-) on a shelf of a gentle SE-facing slope. A lintelled passage (Wth 0.9m; H 1.2m) runs W from its entrance (L c. 10m), before becoming blocked at a turning.
