In the N half of a cashel (GA113-055001-). A well-preserved drystone-built Man-made underground passage (L >7.9m) consisting of a creep and chamber. Access is gained through the SW end of the creep (L 2m; Wth 0.9m; H 0.4m), which leads to the rectangular chamber (L 5.9m; max. Wth 1.8m; max. H 1.36m) running NNE-SSW. The floor of the chamber is a mixture of clay and small stones but half way along its length, towards SSW end, a natural rock ledge raises the floor level c. 0.4m. This rise is accommodated by a rise in the roof level at this point. To the NNW of the creep a possible side stone, aligned to SSW, may indicate the presence of a 2nd chamber.
